No Formal Proposals
NURI PASHA IN LONDON (British Official Wireless.) Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 14. Replying to a House of Commons question, Mr. Ormsby-Gore said that during Nuri Pasha’s recent visit to London ho (Mr. Ormsby-Gore) had received him as an old personal acquaintance and the conversation was entirely informal. Nuri Pasha did not speak in any representative capacity, and there was no question of submitting any formal representations or proposals regarding the relations of Jews and Arabs in Palestine.
