Abduction Plot
NAZIS PLANNED TO KIDNAP | AUSTRIAN CHANCELLOR United Press Association—By Electric i Telegraph.—Copyright 3. The Daily Herald's Prague correspondent says that 30 Austrian Nazis will be tried shortly on charges of conspiring to abduct Dr. Kurt Sehuschingg, the Austrian Chancellor, and his eleven-year-old son Kurt. The plot, organised by Nazi Storm Troopers, was intended to take place in October, 1936, when it was intended to seize Dr. Schuschnigg and Kurt and rush them to Germany in a plane. German Nazis, however, were opposed to the plot, which was betrayed to the Austrian police. The leaders were arrested and have been imprisoned over since.
