U.S. Supreme Court Plan Dropped

President Roosevelt has abandoned his proposals for Supreme Court re* organisation during the present session owing to opposition and the recent favourable decisions. The question may be revived in 193 S if conditions should warrant it. PLAN NOT ABANDONED. TO BE PRESENTED IN MODIFIED FORM. Received Friday, 9 p.m. WASHINGTON, June 3. Following a night conference at the White House, Mr Robinson stated that the President had not abandoned his Supreme Court revision plan, but had intimated he would press for its passage during the present session of Congress in a modified form.
