From Our Own Correspondent. Kimbolton Golf Club. The following are the results of a ladies’ match, Feilding v. Kimbolton, played on the Kimbolton Club’s links fast week, Feilding players being mentioned first.—Miss Irkin lost to Airs D’Ath; Aliss Robson won from Mrs Murray; Aliss Alcilvor halved with Aliss Ross; Airs Alul•vaney lost to Aliss Hocking; Mrs Gieson lost to Aliss Luxmoore; Mrs Cameron won from Airs Richardson; Aliss Sargisson won from Airs Cornfoot; Aliss E. Robson won from Miss Barry; AUss Shepherd lost to Mrs Billing; Aliss Beattie won from Aliss K. Alurray; Mrs Broad won from Mrs W. Clapham; Miss Gibson lost to Miss F. Brown; Aliss Hocken lost to Aliss I. Kilgour; Aliss Carthew lost to Airs C. Clapham. Feilding 6, Kimbolton 7; one game halved. District Ball. A meeting was held in the hall last Tuesday evening to make arrangements for the Kiwitea district annual ball. Air Craine presided and there was a good attendance. It was decided to hold the ball jpn July 6. A professional orchestra has been engaged and the arrangements for a sit-down supper have been left lo the ladies, who will hold a meeting later. It is expected that this year’s ball will be even more successful than those held in the past. Advertisements will appear in this paper from time to time.
School Children’s Ball. At a meeting of tho school committee it was decided to hold the annual school children’s ball on the evening of the last day of the second term, July 16.
