From Our Own Correspondent. u A football match that created home JnJ ’ terest at Milson was played on the school* ® ground during the week-end between s teams selected from rallwaymen of the traffic and, loco branches. Despite the * weather conditions, some good football ’• resulted, which augurs well for the team to be selected later on in the season to play week-end matches. The Traffic de- ’’ partment were successful in winning, the score bemg 21—15. For the Loco, men, “ R. Robinson, Summers, Horsfall, and '• Howard scored tries, while an obstruction try was also allowed. For Traffic, “ tries were scored by Robinson. Redsbaw, Teppett and McKashin, while Jtedshaw L ’ converted three tries and kicked a penalty goal. Mr Jewett was the referee. Next week-end will see these two teams in action again to select a team to play » against a team that has sent in an invitation to play this popular railway team.
