REPORTED ASSURANCE BY HITLER. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copy riah t. BERLIN, March 16. The Chancellor, Herr Hitler, in receiving King Christian of Denmark, who is passing through Berlin to Copenhagen from a holiday on the French Riviera, is reported to have assured him that Germany is willing to guarantee the inviolability of Denmark’s frontiers. They conversed alone for thirty minutes. It was announced subsequently that the meeting constituted “an important step towards the pacification of Europe.”
