Feilding Bowling Club
VISIT FROM WANGANUI BOWLERS. Seven rinks from the Wanganui Bow ling Club journeyed to Feilding on Saturday as the guests of the Feilding Bowling Club, the intention being to engage in play throughout the day, but owing to the condition of the green following the heavy rain overnight, the games did not commence until the afternoon. A clear sky and pleasant sunshine favoured the afternoon and the visitors thoroughly enjoyed thair outing notwithstanding the fact that play was curtailed. Tho president of the Feilding Club, Mr. C. M. bargissou, cordially welcomed tho visitors, expressing regret that the heavy rain on Friday night had prevented play on Saturday morning, but with the sun shining and the green rapidly drying he anticipated that some keen play would follow. At the conclusion of the play which terminated in favour of the home team by 130 points to 120, Mr. Crawford, president of the Wanganui Club, expressed the thanks of the visitors for the very pleasant day provided the. vis itors.
