Germany and France
ECONOMIC NEGOTIATIONS. PARIS, January 14. It is reported that M. Blum, the French Premier, will make an important announcement in a speech at Lyons on January 24th., to the effect that economic negotiations will be opened with Germany in tho near future, without political conditions. It is recognised, however, that much depends on General Goering’s talks witli Mussolini, who, it is expected, will clarify the implications in the Anglo-Italian agreement.
