Fine Concert at Waitnna
BY PUPILS OF MISS JOAN MAUNDER. Miss Joan Maunder’s pupils, assisted by several Palmerston North artists, presented a very enjoyable programme of songs, recitations and pianoforte solos to an appreciative audience at YY r aituna YY'est. Those taking part were Misslola Clark (songs), Misses Bonny Houston and Joyce Berkahn (character duets), Misses Dawn and Betty Olsen (songs and recitations), Therle YVilliamson, Annie Shannon, Howard and David YY T illiamson and Barbara Shannon (pianoforte solos). Others taking part were Ann and Betty Short, lan and Peter Richardson, Colleen Kelly and Mr. D. B. Rowe.
At the conclusion of the evening a dainty supper was served and Miss Maunder was presented with a charming floral bouquet.
