King Sends Wedding Cheque
When M(ss C. Cooper, a formor member of the domestic staff at Buckingham Palace, was married recently to Air G. Baker, a young businessman, at St. Michael is Church, Yeovil, Somerset, the King sent a cheque as a wedding present. The romance of the couple began when Mr Baker visited the Palace to see his sister, who is also on the domestic staff there.
