To Make Germany SelfSufficient
INTENSIVE FOUR-YEAR PLAN United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 9.50 p.m. BERLIN, Dec. 8. Herr Vetter, president of the Animal Breeding Assiciation, has announced an intensive programme to make Germany self-suflicieut under a four-year plan. Hens must be better fed to increase the supply of eggs, rabbits must increase their litters, mulberry trees are to be planted to feed silkworms, 700,000 swarms of bees are to bo added to the present stock, special clover being grown for them, and a million goats added to increase the milk supply.
