Empire Games Next Year
At the last meeting of the Manawatu Bowling Contre, consideration was given to the question of tho Empire Games (to bo held in Australia next year) and tho sending of representatives of Now Zealand, whose expenses would be paid by a levy on all tho clubs. Tho executive decided that as all of the centres, like other organised bodies, wero not represented on the council, it was not prepared to enter into the arrangements. A special committeo was set up to inspect and report on greens to be used for the New Year tournament.
