Preventing Accidents at Feilding Saleyards
FARMER’S UNION ASKS FOR SAFETY RAILS. “That tho Manawatu Live Stock Auctioneers’ Association bo asked to erect safety rails above the stock pons at the Feilding sale yards,’’ was a resolution passed unanimously on Saturday by the Manawatu Provincial Executive of tho N.Z. Farmers’ Union. Mr. W. G. Shannon, who proposed the motion, said there had been two accidents at the yards within a week, and some safeguard was essential.
