Miss Elizabeth Blake, honorary adviser to the New Zealand branch of the British Drama League, is at present in Hamilton, where she shortly will produce Laurence Housman’s “Bethlehem.” The parts in the play are to be taken by the Cathedral Players and the production will be in the Cathedral.

Miss Margaret Poole, of Wanganui, who returned early in the year from a visit to England, will leave New Zealand next month to spend a year in tho Homeland. Miss Poole has accepted an engagement for period costume drawing and painting for an American play producer, and is looking forward to continuing this fascinating work which she studied and took up during her previous visit to England. Miss Poole is keenly interested in tho Girl Guido movement and was a welcome visitor to the Guide Headquarters and camps in England, which she hopes to revisit to seo more of the work done by the association. She will be a passenger on the Rangitane sailing on January 14.
