The matron of the Willard Children's Home, acknowledges with many thanks gifts from the following for the month of November: Mil'son Institute, cabbages and jam; Mr. Trask, milk; Mr. W. S. Patten, vegetables and dripping; Mrs. Scotter, books; Birch and Sous, buns and scones; L. E. C. Bakery, buns and scones; United Manawatu Lodge, cakes and sandwiches; Win. Cook and Sons, large load' of kindling wood; A. and P. Spring Show, cakes, scones; Kimbolton Women’s Institute, dozen eggs; Mrs. R. D. Knight, gooseberries; Mr. A. Just, rhubarb; Mrs. Trigg, plants; Girls’ Music Club, cakes; Citizens’ Lunch Club, tickets for senior children to arts and crafts exhibition; a friend, cakes; Broadway School of Dancing, free admission to all children to recital. Donations to Christmas fund: Ladies’ Bridge Club (Mrs. E. M. Griggs), donations £1 Is; Alwyn School of Physical Culture, donation, £5 16s; Manawatu Meat Co., meat, sausages, dripping; Farland and Sons, meat and sausages; Dixon’s, meat and sausages.
