A Youthful Mannequin

NOVEL FEATURE AT Y.W.C.A. EXHIBITION A display of frocks worn by a little girl in 1820 was a new and attractive feature of the mannequin parade of period gowns which is being staged in conjunction with tho art and antique exhibition at present being held in the Municipal hall under the auspices of the Y.W.C.A. A captivating young lady making her debut as a mannequin was little Dorothy Dean, daughter of Dr. If. Dean and Mrs. Dean. Although only 2T months old this dainty woo person woro tho frocks, which had been lent by Mrs. C. H. Burnett, of Wanganui, with the assurance of a true mannequin. Her first appearance was made in an ankle-length frock of pink flowered print fashioned on simple lines with a rucked bodice and short sleeves. With it was worn a short fringed cape lined with white, and a matching whito bonnet.

Dainty hand-sewn aprons and other little print frocks were also featured by the tiny ma'nnequin.
