A large gathering of visitors from neighbouring clubs was present at the closing day of the winter season of the Dannevirke Golf Club. The weather was unpleasant in the morning but Improved in the afternopn. The trophies won during the season were presented to the winners by Mrs. A. Holden as follows: —Men's singles (knock-out): L. Paewai; runner-up, B. P. Hopkins. Men's four-ball (knock-out): H. A. Ellingham and T. Irwin; runners-up, W. J. Forsyth and J. J. Agar. Mixed fourball (knock-out): Mrs. C. Coulby and C. Coulby, Mrs. Itoake and H. M. Taterc. Mason Cup: J. Hape. Knight Cup: D. P. Lindsay. Junior championship: Mason Fraser; runner-up, D. Baton. Intermediate championship: J. J. Agar; runner-up, P. W. Dorrington. (Senior championship: W. J. FcKsyth; runner-up, J. Hape. Canadian foursome: Mr. and Mrs. F. Bullick, Mr. W. J. Forsyth and Mrs. J. B. Price, equal. Ladies' senior championship: Mrs. W. E. Knight; runner-up, Mrs. D. Gordon. Ladies' junior championship: Mrs. F. Bullick; runner-up, Airs. Connell. Knight Cup: Airs. D. Gordon. L.G.U. silver medal, Mrs. Fowler; bronze medal, Miss J. Beedie. Senior bogey: Aliss M. Cull. Junior bogey: Airs. ,T. Roakc.
