The Registrar, Mr. A. F. O. Clark, has given the following figures relating to the vital statistics of Pahiatua for the quarter ending September 30 as under, the figures i* parentheses being those of the corresponding period for last year: Births 29 (20), deaths 14 (17), marriages 6 (9). i Up to date there have been 50 fishing licenses issued in Pahiatua.
Building permits to the total value of £2,015 for the quarter ending September 30, 1936, have been issued by the Pahiatua Borough Council, this representing six buildings.
