U.S.S. Steamer for Japanese Scrap Metal
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. The Union Company’s cargo steamer Kaaua has been sold to Japanese buyers and it is understood sko is lo bo converted into scrap metal in Japan. Sko is a steel steamer of 1948 tons gross and was built at Leith, Scotland, in 1911.
