Jolly Party at Broadway Studio
On Saturday evening last a most enjoyable party was held in Miss Gwen Gibbs’ Broadway Studio. The evening was spent in dancing with interludes of games and exhibition dances. Miss Gibbs received her guests wearing a graceful model frock of figured silk. Eke was assisted by Miss L. McAffer, who wore a frock of black panne velvet with a Aiedici collar, and Miss M. Pegden, whoso frock was of lime greou tinsel with a shoulder spray of violets. During the evening supper was served, and this was followed later by- ice creams. Winners of the various competitions wero Miss Luke and Air. Worboys, Aliss Reid and Air. Rutherford, Miss AI. Grant and Air. P. Priest. A Alonte Carlo medley was won by Miss B. Ingles and Air. Etuart. During the evening Aliss AlcAfter and Mr. R. Haddon gave an exhibition dance w-hich was much appreciated, as also was a tap dance by Aliss Lorraine Alajor. A very pleasant evening terminated ai midnight.
