Catholic Church At Longburn
On behalf of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Very Rev. Monsignor MacManus has secured a section of half-an* acre close to the railway station at Longburn. It is intended that this shall be the site for a future Catholic Church in the township when sufficient funds are raised for its erection. Meanwhile, a house on the property has been renovated as a temporary building for holding services.
