As there are only five vacancies to fill an election will be necessary to decide the stewards for the year. Mr. J. Murray, who has been a steward . for the past 32 years did not .seek reelection. Odcifeilowship. There was a splendid attendance of ' the Loval Woodviile Lodge members at their meeting on Monday evening when the Noble Grand, Bro. D. A. Peebles presided. Three candidates were initiated ■uid two more proposed for membership. \ fraternal visit was paid to the lodge by 1 members of the Loyal Mangatainoka 1 Lodge the visitors being cordially wel--1 coined' by the Noble Grand. An interesting meeting resulted, a number of matters of Interest to members being discussed. At the conclusion of the meeting a euchre match was played resulting l,°a win for Woodviile by a margin of two games. Supper was served by lady members.
