Tasman Cup Team Arrive in Sydney
PLAY VICTORIA TO-MORROW, - United Press Association—By Elec trio Telegraph..—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 11.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 10. The New Zealand Tasman Cup team of five lady golfers and the captainmanager, Mrs. Godby, which arrived by the Marama to-day, was officially welcomed and entertained by the Australian Golf Club. The visitors were motored to various metropolitan courses and left by train to-night for Melbourne to play a match against Victoria on Thursday. They will continue their journey to Adelaide the same night where they will practice for the Australian championships, which begin at Seaton on August 24. The order in which the New Zealanders will play in the Tasman Cup matches will depend on their performances in the Australian championships.
