Earl McCready Wins Again
EXCITING BOUT WITH NEWCOMER Fer Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Wrestling in a last and exciting contest Earl McCready (10.12) beat Danny Dusek (10.3) by one fall in the fifth round. Dusek made a very favourable impression in his first serious bout in New Zealand, showing a wide variety of holds and counters and great strength in applying them. McCready ! s fall came from a press after three successive slams. Dusek recovered brilliantly, outwrestling McCready in tho exciting seventh and eighth rounds. McCready, however, was too heavy and strong.
