Mr. J. Morris is about again after his recent attack of bronchitis. Home again from a holiday in New Plymouth is Mr. H. Harrowfield. Ho was staying with his friend, Mr. H. Couch. Congratulations to numerous show prize winners, Mesdames Spall and Harvey. Misses M. and W. Yautier and I. Johansen in the domestic section, Mrs. Shannon in needlework, Mr. A. C. Harvey in vegetables, and May and Iris Johansen, Daphne Hazelhurst and Hioyd Ranford in the children's mangold club section. On Tuesday night tho rain was so heavy that before day-break the creek had washed over tho banks and the river reached a very high mark. A great deal of water is still lying round. Mrs. W. K. Woodd’s Havelock South visitor, Mrs. M. Jones, lias departed.

Out’of bed again and convalescent is Mr. 11. Gore. The school children were given Friday off to visit the show, a largo number availing themselves of the opportunity. Back from a visit to Waipukurau is Mr. G. Shannon. Congratulations to Mr. Harold Crawford for his well-merited inclusion in the Manawatu representative football team. Mr. and Mrs. C. Baker arc visitors a( tho homo of Mr. and Mrs. R. Meyer.
