Farmers’ Union. Tho meeting called by the Farmers’ Union branch at Bulls on Wednesday night was well attended by enthusiastic members and intending members as well as ladies. Mr. Lloyd Hammod, president of the Wellington Central Executive, gave an interesting address on guaranteed prices. Mr. Hammond was asked many questions. Mr. Keith Little, provincial secretary, also addressed tho meeting and endorsed a lot of what Mr. Hammond had said. He said it was gratifying to see such a large gathering of farmers present which went to show that the Bulls branch intended to be a live one and take up the work of the Farmers’ Union which must co-oper-ate more strongly than ever to safeguard their interests. Mr. A. N. Amon, who occupied tho chair, then opened tne business of tho branch. It w'as unanimously agreed to continue the Bulls branch and the following officers were elected: President, Mr. S. C. Jergens; lion, secretary, Mr. J. G. Wiison; executive committee, Messrs. R. O. Dalrymple, It. Gray, G Yuung, A. W. Amon, Q. O. Wilson, R. Scott, T. Willis, R. Bartlett. E. J. Amon, Saville, D. Ho considered every farmer should become a member for in so doing it strengthened tho hands of tho New Zealand Farmers’ Union.
