Personal. Congratulations to Misses Lily and Florence Carson, anti Kathleen and Mary Johnston, of tho Opikl basketball team, who liavo gained Horowhenua representative honours. They play at Plimmertou on Saturday, Juno 20. Mrs. J. Wisneski and her small son, of Tane road, left on Friday on holiday bent. iurs. J. Buglass has returned home after spending a holiday in Levin as the guest of Mrs. Goldsmith. Mrs E. J. Lanksliear of Opui road, returned homo on Thursday after an enjoyablo holiday spent in Tutaenui and V\ anganui.
