Counties Cash, Cycling Club
At a committee meeting of the Counties Cash Cycling Club it was decided to cancel the road race from Levin to Palmerston North on June 23 owing to the state of the roads. The club is holding a road race from the Princess Hotel to Feilding and back or. Tuesday, starting at 2 p.m. With this race will go the sash for tho 24-mile championship. The club decided to make tho prize money: First £1 lOs, second 10s, third ss; fastest time 15s and sash. The entrance feo is 2s.
Dance patrons are reminded of the
dance to be held in the Cosmopolitan hall on Tuesday night. Tho function is being organised by an energetic ladies’ committee to help to raise funds for the club. The committee assures patrons of a good time as well as adhering to the policy of charging popular prices.
