Miss Marjorie Curlett, of Hastings, is visiting Palmerston North for the show, and is staying at tho Club Hotel, Mr. and Mrs. Noel Harding, of Hastings, arrived in Foilding on Friday to spend a fow days with Mr. and Mrs. J. S, Tin gey. Miss K. Miller, for 17 years assist-ant-secretary of tho Dannevirke A. and P. Association, and for four years secretary of the North Island A. and P. Association secretaries’ conference, icc.oivcd two presentations at the meeting of that organisation in view of her approaching marriage. Mr Jos. Batchelar presented Miss Miller with a silvor cake dish on behalf of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association, and Mr R. H. Williams (Masterton) asked her to accept a case of spoons from the A. and P. Association secretaries’ conference. Both made reference to the excellence of Miss Miller’s services. Similarly, eulogistic comment was made by Messrs H. E. Kissling (secretary-organiser of the Manawatu and West Coast ' ”nd P. Association), J. M. James (Masterton), W. Howard Booth (Carterton), J A. Walsh (Pahiatua), R. R. Johnson (Woodville), W. F. Ross (Stratford) and H. S. M. Quigley (Dannevirke).
