Garden Circle Members Spend Instructive Afternoon
ftlcmbors of the gardening circle of tho Townswomen’s Guild spent a most delightful afternoon' recently at tho residence of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Just, College stroot. ' Tho party was' divided up and Mr. Just and Mr. Sheet took the members all' round the garden giving much valuable information for the amatepr gardener with regard to plants, bulbs and shrubs, etc. Delicious afternoon tea was,served on tho lawn and before the guests departed Mrs. Woodroofe. returned thanks to Mr. and Mrs.. Just for .their kindly hospitality, a quaint bouquet composed of .kitchen novelties being presented to Mrs. Just. .
.■There was an .attendance of about 45 ;o enjoy proceedings.
