Polo Tourney at Feilding
SAVILE CUP FINAL THIS AFTERNOON The heavy rain which fell in Feilding yesterday morning compelled the cancellation of tho day’s polo fixtures and the unavoidable postponement of the Savile cup final between Cambridge and Matangi caused considerable disappointment throughout the countryside. Many visitors had travelled to Feilding to see this match and arrived before they knew that the games were off. The weather improved yesterday afternoon, and on the ground being inspected by the committee it was found to be drying out well. A meeting last evening decided to piny both the Junior and Savile cup finals to-day. Tho Junior cup final between Rangitikei and Whareama will be played at 11 a.m., and the Saville cup final at 2 p.m. This match will be played in conjunction with the polo pony sports and races.
