Inquiry into Future of British Film Industry
COMMITTEE APPOINTED. (British Official Wireless.) Received Friday. 7 p.m. RUGBY, March 26. A committee presided over by Loro Moyne has been appointed by the Board of Trade to consider the position of British films, having in mind the approaching expiry of the Cinematograph Films Act, 1927, aud to advise whether, and if so, what measures are still required in the public interest to promote the production, renting and exhibition of films.
