Johnsonville Sale

Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Joknsonville sale, held on Tuesday, as follows: — To a smaller attendance of buyers than usual we offered an average yarding of all classes of stock. Tho bullocks yarded were-chiefly heavy-weight cattlo with a few.pens of lighter sorts. These met with a good sale, prices being on a par with last week’s Tates. Cows and heifers came forward in the usual numbers and sold at prices showing no alteration. Runners and vealers sold well at late rates. There was a smaller yarding than usual of wethers, whilst ewes came forward in the usual numbers. All classes sold well at lato rates. Lambs met with a ready sale at last week’s prices.
