AUCKLAND VALUES SLIGHTLY EASIER Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. A local record of 32,420 bales wa* offered at tho final Auckland wool sale to-day, fully 95 per cent, being sold. The average price per pound is estimated approximately at Sid, giving the bale value at just over £l2. Tii* total cheque will bo about £370,0011, the highest at the third Auckland sals for a number of years. ’ Finer wools showed a slight easing on southern values and coarser 30rls were up to Id cheaper than at recent sales. On the other hand, compared with the Auckland January fixture, prices were fully Jd better all rouud with the exception ’ of Southdowu, which was distinctly easier. The top price was laid for 13 bales of Corrie> dale. Competition was keen and widespread.
