KING’S BIRTHDAY DATE. At the meeting of- tho executive committee of the New Zealand facing Conference at the weekend, certain date changes were made owing to the new King’s Birthday holiday. In tho North Island the Wanganui Jockey Club and tho Napier Park Racing Club were given the date, and both clubs will now race on June 20 and 23.

In the South Island the Dunedin Jockey Club was granted June 23, 25, and 27. The Ashburton County Racing Club’s date has been moved ahead to June 6 instead of June 27. If tho Ashburton Trotting Club will accede to a request to take June 20 instead of June 13 the South Canterbury Jockey Club will be permitted to race on June 13 instead of June 20. Otherwise this club will have to hold two days in May.
