Kiwitea Carnival

GALA DAY ON SATURDAY The settlers of Kiwitea are holding a carnival at Mr A. Brown’s property on Saturday next in aid of the district Presbyterian Church funds. Proceedings are timed to commence at II a.m. with a programme of competitions for all ages, for which good prizes will be offered. In addition to tho prizes for the different events there will be a special points prize for the person gaining the most points during the carnival. Sewing, produce and sweet stalls will be available, offering a goodly collection of appropriate articles and foodstuffs, and an entertaining day is offered all visitors. In the event of the weather being wet and unfavourable, • proceedings will take place at the Kiwitea hall.
