Willard Home Board's Monthly Meeting

The monthly meeting of tho Willard Home Board was held in St. Andrew's session room yesterday, Mrs. E. Ad Collins presiding. Also present were: Mesdames K. MacDonald, E. C.; Barnett, D. J. Lovelock, E. Bett, J. A. McLeavcy, T. K. Hodder, E. G. Bennett, J. W. McConnon, E. W. Jennings, E. Birdsall (secretary-treasurer) and Miss M. McLagan. Apologies were received from Mesdames J. 11. Bennett and E. Port.

The report, presented by the matron, stated that matters at tho home were most satisfactory and the children had enjoyed very good health. There had been two new admissions during February. Miss M. Beid and Mrs, Ivarten had managed the home very capably during the fortnight’s absence of Misses Anderson and Pearce. The children had enjoyed their visit to Titania’s Palace immensely and had taken in every detail.—This report and tho correspondence were duly received. Accounts passed for payment amounted to £l3 14s 7d. It was decided that a letter be sent to Miss Beid congratulating her on the manner in which sho had carried out her duties as acting-matron during the absence of Miss Anderson.

Members discussed the holding of a stall at the Winter Show, but nothing definite was decided in the matter and it was agreed that Mrs. Birdsall should make a few enquiries concerning the space required and other details.
