Titania's Palace
ATTENDANCES TO DATE, 4370. Yesterday the attendance at Titania's Court was 266 adults and children. Amongst the many wonderful articles on view in the furnishings of the various rooms are a bronze gilt cannon made in 1540, a tiny treasure chest with a complete lock in the lid, the work of a Nuremberg craftsman of the 15th century, a miniature model of the “Golden Hind,” a boxwood group of the Holy Eaniily carved about 1600, an original illuminated book of hours written in 1450, a chamber organ which can be played, a tiny bookcase containing 75 tiny volumes printed and illustrated and bound in calf, a 'cello and bow, a table grand piano, a collar stud so small it is hardly visible to the naked eye, and the smallest razor ever made are only some of the many wonders of the great masterpiece. There is also a complete working model motor car which cost £2OO to be seen in the Central Court yard awaiting the pleasure of Queen Titania. Citizens should make an effort to see the palace for it will not pass this way again.
