Titania’s Palace
ONE OF THE WORLD’S WONDERS After making a fairly comprehensive inspection of the wonders of Titania’s Palace on Thursday afternoon a small boy accosted one of the lady attendants and expressed a wish to get on closer acquaintance w r ith the motorcar, a glimpse of which he had obtained through tho Throne Toom window. This beautiful model is only about 12 inches’ long and is complete in every detail and cost £2OO. On being advised that it could not be placed in his hands for a complete “look over" the budding motor mechanic was very disappointed. Yesterday proved another busy day at Titania’s Court, the attendance of visitors being 683 adults and children. The total to date is 2900.
To-day the Palace will be open for inspection from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Messrs C. M. Ross Company’s buildings on the ground floor. The whole proceeds of the Palace whilst in Palmerston North are to go to the funds of the local branch of the Crippled Children’s Society.
