Weekly Horse Auction Revived at Montreal
MONTREAL. —Montreal saw its first horse auction in five years, January 9, whan over 300 horses were sold. Weekly horse sales will now be held. The animals came from Saskatchewan, Alberta, Quebec and Ontario. Farm horses from the prairies, Ontario, and Quebec brought higher prices than, was paid for them last year. Prices averaged from 80 dollars to 115 dollars, approximately £IG to £3O each.
