From Our Own Correspondent. Miss Walker, of Nelson, who has' been the guest of Mr and Mrs J. W. Handcock, returned to her home on Monday. The friends of Mrs King will be pleased to hear that she is recuperating after her recent operation. Miss M. Gibson of Coonor. spent last week with her parents. Mrs Falconer of Te Awamutu is the guest of Mr and Mrs J. A. Gibson. The garden party being organised by the W.I. and the W.D.F.U. members, that had to be postponed a fortnight ago or account of .inclement weather, is to be held this Saturday and patrons are assured of a good day’s enjoyment.
