“The Tunnel”
The cast of the Gaumont-British picture, “The Tunnel,’’ which tells the story of a gigantic engineering project—the construction of a submarine tunnel between groat Britain and the United .States —includes four visitors from Hollywood, Richard Dix, Madge Evans, Helen Vinson and C. Aubrey Smith. Dix plays the part of the engineer responsible for the design and execution of the tunnel, whoso enthusiasm and r jsession with his great work estranges aim from his wife, Madge Evans; C. Apbrey Smith plays a crotchety, but good-hearted financier, of British birth, who has spent years in America, and whose enthusiasm for Anglo-American co operation makes the financing of the tunnel possible.
