ARRANGEMENTS STAGING CONJUNCTION SHOW DAY.
• Taken in conjunction with the showday fixture itself the fight, if arranged, will create a great draw. In fact, with the large attendance of show members and visitors to the town, it could not possibly be held on a more suitable date. The secretary of the Pahiatua Boxing Association, Mr J. A, Walsh, stated yesterday that he had written to tho New Zealand Boxing Council for a definite assurance that Ray Nicol will fight Harold Reeve for the professional light-heavyweight championship on February filth next (show day),
