From Our Own Correspondent. Arrangements are in hand for an excursion to the beach by the school children soon after the holidays. A good sports programme is being prepared for the enjoyment of everyone making the trip. , Tennis, Bunnythorpe B team played AVhakarongo on Saturday, when a very enjoyable tennis afternoon was spent, Bunny, thorpe winning by 13 sets to 3. Personal. Mrs W. B. Duthie is on a visit to her daughter, Mrs J. Caldwell, of AVaitoa. Mr and Mrs AV. Greig and family are holidaying at Waitarere beach. Mr and Mrs R. Abraham and family are'staying at Waitarere beach. Mr Slaughter has returned from Sydney, where he spent his annual vacation. Mr C. Lassen, of Hastings, has been spending a few days here visiting relatives.
Mr and Mrs A. F. McKenzie and family, Reid’s line, left on Tuesday last on a motor tour of the Auckland province.
