After a fortnight’s motor tour of the north, Mr and Mrs S. G. Baker and family, .of Karori, Wellington, spent a few days with Mrs T. A. Smith, “Fairfield,” left on Tuesday for Wellington, accompanied by Miss Justine Smith. Mrs Mitchell and Miss June left on Monday for a beach holiday at Haumoana, Hastings. Miss Eileen Shortail and Mr John Shortall and Master Mitchell Smith returned on Saturday after a visit to Mr J. Mitchell, Cambridge.

Mrs C. E. Weston and her daughter, Phyllis, are on a visit to Hastings, where they are the guests of Mrs E. J. Lowe. Mr J. Williamson, “Greenfields,” is on a visit to his sons, who are farming at Huarau, North Auckland. Miss Sylvia Cousins, “Hiamoe,” is on a visit to Takapau, where she is tho guest of Mrs Oswald Kynock. Miss Noel Cameron, who has been the guest of Mrs E. E. Cousins, has returned to her home, “Glenmore,” Turakina.

Mr and Mrs R. Linklater are tho guests of Mr and Mrs J. Linklater at tlieir beach house, Foxton.
