MISHAP IN TAKING OFF.

NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night,

The undercarriage and the propeller of a Western Federated Flying Club Moth 'plane were completely smashed this morning, when tno machine struck a sheep as K. Martin was taking oil for Rotorua with a passenger. The ’plane had run about 100 yards when tho propeller struck a sheep, which was caught by the undercarriage. The undorcarriago was torn off and the ’plane came to rest level on the ground. Damage was done to the lower wings, but the pilot and passenger were not harmed.
