Maori Boy With Bullet Wound in Head
WENT SHOOTING WITH A PEARIFLE. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Last Night. With a bullet wound in his head, a Maori boy, aged 10, was admitted to tlie Wanganui Hospital this afternoon in a serious condition. It is reported that Bailey and two other youths went shooting with a .22 calibre rifle, and according to tho story of one of the lads, Bailey discharged the weapon at a piece of-iron, with tho result that the bullet riecochettcd back and penetrated his eheck just below the eye and lodged in his forehead. The accident occurred at Kukuta, six miles from the city. The polieo are making further investigation.
