Plan to Settle Jewish Refugees

MISSION TO AMERICA LONDON, Jan. 8. The Manchester Guardian says that an important mission, headed by Sir Herbert Samuel and Lord Bearsted, is going to New York on January 15 to discuss means cf settling Jewish refugees from Germany. No definite' scheme has been formulated, and the discussions will- be largely exploratory. The mission will consider proposals to raise a largo fund to train and settlo Jews in places other than Palestine, which is unable to absorb tho great waves of migrants.
