Oroua Electorate
HON. <T, G. COBBE TO SPEAK IN FEILDING
Hon. J. G. Cobbc, Minister of Justice and Defence, and member for the Oroua electorate, will open his campaign in connection with the forthcoming Parliamentary election, on Friday evening next at the drill hall, Feilding. The chair will be taken by the Mayor of Fcifding, Mr T. Collins, at S o’clock.
MR FAIR’S CANDIDATURE At a meeting of supporters of the Democrat party’s interests held in Feilding on Friday evening, a strong committee was set up. It was announced that Mr Fair would open his campaign at Iluntervillo this week, when Dr. Adams, of Wanganui, would be present to support the candidate. It is expected that the party leader, Mr T. C. A. Hislop, will be in Feilding on November 2 to deliver the party’s policy speech.
