Feilding Chamber of Commerce

The Feilding Chamber of Commerce met last evening, Mr J. G. Eliott (president) presiding. There were also present Messrs A. J. Humphreys, A. C. McCorkindalc, T. Collins (Mayor), V. E. Smith, J. S. Tingey, A. J. Kellow, J. B. Purcell (postmaster). The Associated Chambers wrote regarding the forthcoming annual' camp to be held at Napier in October, and notifying that tho levy on tho Fcilding chamber had been fused at 3s 9d per member, Tho meeting agreed to meet the levy and in discussing tire suggested arrangements for entertaining the delegates to the overseas congress in 4930, Mr Kellow suggested that Feilding might put in an invitation to rcecivo some of the visitors. Following a discussion it was decided to express to the Associated Chambers the willingness of Feilding to entertain a number of tho visitors and requesting fuller information.
